The film was missing something that the first two had. Much more lighthearted, much more of a cliche story (too formulaic). I didn't hate it...but I didn't love it either. I still think it was a solid film.
Well in my opinion, it wasn't the best in the franchise I will tell you that. Its not that I did not like it, its just there was a few problems I had with it. I thought it was way to fast pace, it was not as emotional as this last two, I feel they really kicked out Shifu and the Furious Five, they introduced characters that they did hardly anything with, I mean seriously master bear and master chicken were in it for less then a minute ( I counted ) and it seemed like Po pretty much forgot everything he learned and became less intelligent. So I must admit I was disappointed because I was really, really excited for this movie, I even went to see it the first day it came out were I live, but after seeing the movie it was not what I expected. I may have liked it less but most of my family said it was better then Kung Fu Panda 2, of course they did not expect as much as me, but you know. But anyways Kung Fu Panda 3 wasn't the worst, but not the best ethier, so I'd say I have mixed feelings about it.
