Hey guys!
Since KFP doesn't have a specified "theme song", what would you have be the KFP theme? I'm talking score-wise, so not including songs like "Kung Fu Fighting."
In my opinion, the Oogway Ascends theme is the KFP theme.

^ Yeah, what you said. I think "Oogway Ascends" is the franchise's main theme - that and "Po the Panda". Both of those melodies are reused in a lot of the films' tracks. Haven't listened to the third film's score yet, but I'm positive Hans Zimmer did the same thing and sprinkled modified versions of those two musical themes into the tracks.
Not really sure what I would have as a different theme "score-wise". Do you mean scores from other films? I suppose something with the same kind of mixed oriental/Western feel would fit nicely.
A very small amount of the Oogway Ascends theme is used. The Panda Po theme is also used sparingly, as well as the "Hero" theme. The classic themes we're used to don't have as much of a mark on KFP3's soundtrack. I think that's where the loss of John Powell is most noticed.
When I said what do you think KFP's theme was "score-wise", I meant only orchestral music, so excluding songs created by other artists for the ending credits (for example: CeeLo Greene's Kung Fu Fighting Reprise) which people often say are the theme.
But they did add on a piano reprise of Oogway Ascends for the KFP3 soundtrack (Oogway's Legacy), so that was nice. I doubt it was used in the film though, I am assuming just the end credits. Out of all the films, KFP3 uses the least amount of reused themes, something that I am both happy and disappointed about.
