The heck's with that hair though...
Ditto. Pretty sure that's just to make him look younger: the sort of trope cartoons have that depicts young male fuzzy animals having more scruffy fur on their heads (Bambi, The Lion King, etc). But that much just looks so odd on him. That said, I like the animation. I just can't bring myself to shell over the money when I'm tight on it, am not interested in who will get the most screentime, already have the DVDs and BluRays, and will be giving DWA more than I can really afford in the form of movie tickets. And I bought the Art Of book and novelization. I feel I'm doing enough of my part to sit out buying this (and thus I have the moral obligation to avoid pirated versions). It's a shame it had to be bundled with copies of the movies, rather than as its own disc.

My guess is that they'll probably include it with the disc release of Kung Fu Panda 3. Still a while away for it, but you could purchase it then.
Decided to go ahead and give this clip a try. My online orders of the new disc releases are still on the way, so I'll be able to watch the short soon enough, but for now I thought I'd treat myself to a preview.
I agree, I like the animation. I'm happy that the franchise is sticking with this mixture of traditional 2D with today's 3D animation (which in my opinion is way overused - really wish animation companies would revisit 2D once in a while). I can also tell that it's sticking to the franchise's well-balanced style of humor with emotional content. I've always loved that about KFP stuff. :)
Anyway, can't wait to watch the rest when I get it.
