The Secret Scroll is a scroll of unknown origin, presumably from kung fu. Its contents are specifically unknown (hence its name), but there's so little known about it that it has built a reputation of being mysterious. Its only known interpreter is Master Yao, who had done so at the age of five.[1]

In Legends of Awesomeness[]
While briefly narrating the early life of Master Yao to Po in the episode "My Favorite Yao," Shifu mentioned that Yao had showed the first signs of his phenomenal intelligence by being the only one to have unlocked the mystery of the Secret Scroll when he was only five.
