The Kung Fu Panda manga is a serialized manga version of the first film. It was published by Kadokawa Shoten in the September issue of Kerokero Ace magazine on the same day the film was released in Japan. The manga is written by Hanten Okuma, with artwork by Takafumi Adachi. It is currently not licensed in English.
A new character, Jun, appears in the manga.[source?]
