This article is about the character from Kung Fu Panda 2 and Kung Fu Panda Holiday. You may be looking for the villain from Secrets of the Scroll, Boar (villain).

Master Boar is a character who was originally going to be a member of the Kung Fu Council in Kung Fu Panda 2, but was scrapped before production. He instead made a cameo appearance in the film as well as a featured appearance as a bandit in Kung Fu Panda Holiday.[2] He also appeared in Kung Fu Panda 4.

Biography[]

In Kung Fu Panda Holiday[]

A band of boar bandits greatly resembling Master Boar's design invaded the Valley of Peace, but were easily defeated by Po and the Furious Five. Notably, the remaining boar was tossed around by the warriors before Po knocked him out by sitting on his neck.

In Kung Fu Panda 2[]

In Kung Fu Panda 4[]

Master Boar was summoned from the Spirit Realm by the Chameleon like the rest of Po's adversaries. He was stripped of his kung fu until Po defeated the Chameleon. Boar then returned to the Spirit Realm along with all of the other summoned kung fu masters.

Trivia[]

  • Kung Fu Panda 2 modeling supervisor Jason Turner explained how Master Boar was a handful to animate because "his fat gets in the way when he has to lean or look down, not unlike the challenges we faced with Po."[2]
