|“|| Kai: Who are you?|
Po: I've been asking the same question. Am I the son of a panda? The son of a goose? A student? A teacher? Turns out, I'm all of them. I am the Dragon Warrior
|—As Po conjures his chi into the form of a dragon|
The battle between Po and Kai is the final fight that takes place in Kung Fu Panda 3 and marks the defeat of the antagonist of the film, Kai, and Po, the protagonist, utilizing chi with the help of his friends.
Po hits Kai and quickly demonstrates the Wuxi Finger Hold on Kai. However, the move failed to send him back to the Spirit Realm. Kai proceeds to mock him and explain that he is a Spirit Warrior and cannot be sent back via the Wuxi Finger Hold before fighting Po. Kai easily dominates him and sends him flying into the village.
While all the villagers crowd around them, Po distracts Kai then locks his arm around his neck and performs the Wuxi Finger Hold on himself. This sends them both to the Spirit Realm in a flurry of chi and peach blossoms.
The duo continue sparring in the Spirit Realm, Kai clearly on the winning side. Po is captured and is slowly engulfed by a layer of jade. Meanwhile, the rest of the villagers manage to master chi by focusing on their relationship with Po and deliver it to him. Their chi appears as their paw-prints on Po's nearly-jaded body.
With enough chi harnessed, Po breaks free. He now dons a gold-trimmed robe and cape. Then, he conjures his chi into the outline of a dragon, asserting that he is the Dragon Warrior, among many other things. After sparring with him, he sends his chi into Kai's body. However, Kai is overwhelmed by the sheer amount of chi and his defeated.
Kai's Jombies are freed and they return to the mortal world. But despite defeating Kai, Po was still stuck in the Spirit Realm.
